Application Fee For HP ITI Admission 2021

  • submit the application fee via online & offline both modes.
  • General category candidates will have to submit Rs. 350/-.
  • The application fee for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates will be Rs. 250/-.
  • Application fee will be non-refundable / non-transferrable in any case.

Himachal Pradesh ITI Eligibility Criteria For HP ITI Admission 2021

  • Nationality: Indian national citizen candidates will be eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Candidates must qualify 8th & 10th level examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for examination.
  • Domicile: Interested & Eligible candidates must have domicile certificate of Himachal Pradesh state.
  • Mandatory subject: Applying candidate must have Mathematics & Science as their mandatory subject in the qualifying exam.
  • Age Limit: He/ she must be at least 14 years in age. There will be no upper age limit to be eligible.

Steps to Apply Online - ITI HP Admission

No queues, no waiting, and no travel; follow these simple steps and your application will reach the Admission Committee at that very instant:

1 Visit URL:

2 You will reach the homepage of HPTSB Online Admissions

3 Click on 'Apply Online'

4 You will be asked to select Admission Program.

5 Click on the button for which you wish to apply (ITI)

6 You will be redirected to the Application Form.

7 Please provide all the details as required in the application form. '*' marked fields are mandatory and information must be entered to complete and submit the form successfully.

8 You may read the Instructions to fill the form before starting with filling the details.

9 Refer section 'Fields in Form' below to know what is to be filled under each field.

10 Applicant's name and Father's name should be as per Class 10th Certificate

11 Please provide correct information for Category and Sub-Category. Please read the Prospectus carefully for eligibility conditions based on Category & Sub-Category.

12 In case you are non-Himachali, all sub-categories would be disabled and are not needed to be filled.

13 Once you have completely filled the form, read the Terms & Conditions carefully. Its is mandatory to accept terms & conditions to submit the form. Click on the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions.

14 Once form is filled and terms & conditions are accepted, click on 'Submit' button at the end of the form.

15 On submitting the form, a Temporary Id and Login ID will be issued. Please note this number for future reference.

16 You will also receive an e-mail and SMS, on your login ID and password. Through this you can login anytime and check the application status.

17 Once you have got the temporary ID, you will reach the third step of making the payment.

18 Payment can be made through Bank Challan.

19 Generate the Bank Challan by clicking on button at bottom of screen 'Generate Challan'. Save as pdf file on your desktop and take print out.

20 Visit your nearest State Bank of Patiala branch to make the payment through this Bank Challan. You will receive a transaction number / UTR number.

21 Once you are back, login to the application through same URL with your login name and password by clicking on link 'Login Existing Member'. Enter your user name and password. You will reach your homepage. Click on 'Application status'

22 You will see the current status of your application form.

23 You can also go back and edit the form if required.

24 Click on 'Payment selection' link

25 Go to Payment selection screen. Enter your payment details as received from the Bank.
  i. Transaction number provided by Bank
  ii. Date of payment
  iii. Branch name
  iv. Name of the Bank

26 Enter the captcha image, you see on your screen in text box 'Code'. This is a security step to ensure a secured transaction.

27 Click on button 'Get receipt'.

28 You will get an acknowledgement screen for your payment and successful registration.

29 It will display message 'Payment not confirmed by Board'. This message would go away once Board reconciles with Bank and confirms the receipt of your payment.

30 You can take a print out of this screen.

31 You will get a permanent registration number once HPTSB confirms your payment with them.

32 Congratulations!! You have successfully applied for admission to HPTSB Institutes.

33 You can login on the portal later to view the Application Status, or take print of Application Form / Acknowledgement.

 Note: You can edit the form anytime till you have made the payment and filled the payment details. Once the payment details are entered, you would not be able to edit the details thereafter

1. What is Online Admissions?

A. Online Admission is a web based application provided by MGRM that facilitates an applicant to apply for admissions to any Institute under HPTSB from anywhere and anytime through the Internet. He /she can apply to the Board with preference of Institutes and Course. He/she can fill the application form, submit fee online and more, saving all the hassle and confusions and time. There is no requirement to go physically for counseling rounds and waiting long hours. Application would perform auto-counseling basis your preference and Board's criteria.

So it is actually going from 'In Line' to 'Online' in true sense!

2. When can I apply online? How to apply and from where do I get the details of admission?

A.Please visit regularly for checking the admission news and announcements from Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board. You can connect to Internet and type the above URLs in your browser. An application form would be loaded.The online application forms can be filled 24x7 by applicant.

3.Who should apply and What are the steps to apply online for Admissions?

Through this application form you can apply to Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board for central Admission process for any of the following Institutes:

a. Government/Private Polytechnic
b. Government ITI
d. Government/Private Pharmacy Institutes

For Admissions to Polytechnics, a common admission test is conducted by the Board. so all applicants for Polytechnic would need to appear for this. For remaining Institutes, merit list is prepared directly on basis of school board result details entered in Application form.

For Admission to any type of Institute, you are required to fill the application form with all fields complete and to best of your knowledge. Once you submit the filled form, you will get a temporary registration number and a login ID and password. You can change the password in case you forget the next time you login.

If you are new to HPTSB online admission systems, please read the "Admission Prospectus" first before registering and then submit the online application for the desired type of Institute. The Admission and counseling fee will be accepted Offline through Bank Challan. Once the payment is confirmed by HPTSB, you will also get a permanent registration number. You will also receive SMS on confirmation

4. What should I do after submitting the online Application?

A. After submitting the application, an application tracking number will be generated, which will be your permanent registration number. Note this tracking number for checking the status of your application in future. You may also be able to track through your login ID and password or temporary number.

5. Can I submit the online application form without providing details of the Online Challan?

A. This is applicable only incase of offline payment option. First you have to make payment at Bank and get the Transaction/UTR No from them. You will need to enter the challan details (challan number / date and amount) before submitting the application form.

6. I have submitted my wards application and just realized I need to make some corrections. How can I make the changes?

A. You can make any number of changes in the application before the payment is made. You may login with your login ID and password and retrieve the application form to edit. Or login through temporary registration number.

7. Can I update personal details like contact number, address etc later?

A. You can make the changes in the application before making the payment and before the closing date of the registrations.

8. Can I change my form details?

A: Yes, you can change the form details till before you make the payment.

9. Can I submit application form offline also in hard copy?

A:No, The complete process is being made available online for ease and convenience of users so that you need not stand in long queues to submit the form and wait whole day for the counseling sessions.

4. How do i fill the form in case i do not have Internet connectivity at my home or near me?

You may visit your nearest facilitation center to get the assistance. You can use the resources like computer and internet at the facilitation center to fill your application. and this facility is available at no extra cost!

Payment - HP ITI Admission -

1. Can I pay offline?

A: Yes, you can pay offline through Bank Challan

Once you apply online, fill the form and submit, you will get a temporary registration number and login details sent on your e-mail / sms. You will reach the next stage of making payment. On this screen, you can generate the Bank challan and take a print out.

Take this print out with you to the nearest Bank and make payment. You will receive a transaction number / UTR number from Bank. You can come back, login to the application with your login details. Go to 'Application status' and continue filling the remaining details of payment. Once you save the payment details, your application will be registered with HPTSB. You will receive a permanent registration number once HPTSB confirms your payment receipt.

2. My payment transaction has been in process. Should I press the refresh button?

A: No, don't press refresh button while the payment processing is in progress. Please wait for the successful payment message to appear before doing any other activity in the system.

Important Note : Please follow the mandatory instructions as below
  • After deposit fee in the bank by challan, applicant will login into his/her account.
  • Click on Application Status at home page.
  • Click on Payment Selection.
  • Enter all the details as Transaction / UTR No., Date of Deposit, Bank Name, Branch Name as provided by the bank.
