Educational Qualification -
Age Limits (as on 01 January 2019) - For all posts – 28 years
Note: Age Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the Government Norms.
Apprentices Registration - Candidates are required to register in the apprenticeship portal
www.apprenticeship.gov.in and bring confirmation email, at the time of appearing for Walk-inSelection, as per the instructions given at the end of this advertisement. Also it is requested to note the details viz. Name, Date of birth, Father’s/Mother’s name, Email-ID, Mobile number etc. till you complete your apprenticeship.
Selection Procedure -
Selection will be made on merit (ITI Marks). Eligible, registered and interested
candidates should bring the below mentioned documents (Original and Photocopies) at the time of
appearing for walk-in-selection :
- Printout of Online Application Form with recent passport size photograph.
- Copy of Apprentice Portal Registration Confirmation email.
- Identity Proof (Adhar Card / Election Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License).
- Date of Birth Certificate.
- All Educational Certificates.
- ITI Mark Sheet and National Trade Certificate.
- Conduct certificates from two respectable persons
Note - Eligible candidates are requested to bring their application form along with original & copies of certificates and appear for walk-in-selection on July 12, 2019 at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, 1 Homi Bhabha Road, Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai 400005.

- Tradesman Trainee- Machinist - 01 post
- Tradesman Trainee- Fitter – 01 post
- Tradesman Trainee- Welder – 01 post
Educational Qualification -
- Tradesman Trainee- Electrical – ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Electrical.
- Tradesman Trainee- Machinist - ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Machinist.
- Tradesman Trainee- Fitter – ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Fitter.
- Tradesman Trainee- Welder – ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Welder.
