National Scholarships Portal(NSP) is one-stop solution through which various services starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction and disbursal of various scholarships to Students are enabled.

What is NPS 2 .0?

The National Scholarship Portal Version 2.0 (NSP-2.0) is a unique and simplified platform created for students to help them to avail benefits of educational scholarships in an efficient and transparent manner.The main objective of National Scholarship Portal is to provide Automation, Streamlining & Effective Management of processes related to Application receipt, Processing, Sanction and Disbursal of Centrally Sponsored Scholarship schemes to Students.

Which State eligible for NSP Scholarship Schemes?

Only States like the Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh,Dadra Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, UT of Ladakh, UT of Lakshadweep, Manipur, Meghalaya, Puducherry, Tripura, Uttarakhand covered under the NSP Scholarship schemes.

Who can apply for NSP Scholarship 2022?

A student who has secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination is eligible. only those candidates whose annual family income is less than or equal to Rs.4.5 lakh per annum are covered under ambit of the scheme.

What is qualification for National scholarship?

Scholarship schemes are divided in following major categories described below (Students are required to select the relevant category based on their class/course in which they are studying):

1. Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme: For students studying from Class 1st to Class 10th.

2.  Post - Matric Scholarship scheme/Top Class Scholarship Scheme/Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme: For students studying from Class 11th, 12th and above including Courses like ITI, B.SC, B. Com., B. Tech, Medical /students studying top level colleges such as IITs and IIMs/ students doing Technical and Professional courses etc. (Attach a hyperlink mentioning details of schemes of different Ministries)

What is the amount of NSP scholarship?

General: ₹ 25,546 for Urban Area students and ₹ 19,884 for Rural Area students. Minority Category Students: ₹ 1,00,000. ST/SC Category Students: ₹ 30,000. OBC Category Students: ₹ 30,000.
