CITS/CTI Nimi Online Admission 2021-2022 - CTI/CITS/Nimi/AICET Admission (Craft Instructor Training Scheme) Entrance Exam DGT (Government of India, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship) conducts All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) for admission to Craft Instructor Training through centralized Counselling.

Courses are offered by Central Institutes under DGT like NSTI's and IToT's to fulfill the objective of uplifting and upgrading the Training standard of existing serving instructors of ITIs and Industry as well as those who aspire to become successful instructor in future in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI’s). CITS/CTI Admission Eligibility Qualification 2021-2022 
  • NTC/NAC (NCVT certificate in relevant trade) or Diploma / Degree from a recognized Board of Technical Education/University or equivalent.
  • The candidates undergoing training under Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) who are going to appear in final exam of All India Trade Test (AITT) during July’ 2020, may also be considered for appearing in the AICET but their final admission in CITS courses will be subjected to successful completion of their training under CTS. If they fail in CTS final examination, they will not be allowed to continue the CITS courses and fee deposited is non-refundable.
  • The candidates who are going to appear in final semester of Degree/ Diploma during July’ 2020, may also be considered for appearing in the AICET but their final admission in CITS courses will be subjected to successful completion of their Degree/Diploma.
  • If they fail in Degree/Diploma final examination, they will not be allowed to continue the CITS courses and fee deposited is non-refundable.
  • For detailed entry qualification related to each trade please refer to Annexure – II.
  • SCVT and CoE candidates are not eligible.
  • Reservation of seats: - Central reservation policy is followed in the admission process
  • Age: - No Upper Age limit

  1. Credit card/ Debit card / Bank details.
  2. Scanned Photograph along with Signature
  3. Scanned copy of the community certificate (only for OBC/SC/ST candidates)
  4. Scanned copy of the 8th Standard or SSLC (10th Standard) Mark sheet
  5. Scanned copy of the NTC or NAC or Diploma or Degree Certificate
For Case 2 Max Size of Image should be 40 KB and for Cases 3,4,5 100 KB.

  • Once registered, use your Email & Mobile No. registered to Login.
  • Keep a valid Email and Mobile for receiving OTP for verification and receiving important messages.
  • Since Email, Mobile and Aadhar are Unique IDs, duplicate registrations restricted using same IDs.

Important FAQ - 

Question:- Candidates with SCVT Certification can apply ?
Answer:-  Yes, only SCVT candidates with Apprentice certificate can apply.

Question:- Will the question paper appear in English and Hindi?
Answer:-  Question paper will be both in English & Hindi.

Question:- How would I remove my documents if it is uploaded successfully, but in modify there is no option to remove it?
Answer:-  Documents once uploaded cannot be deleted but can be replaced with new one using the modify option.

Question:- I have completed ITI with COPA trade from SCVT can I apply?
Answer:- No. The SCVT holders must have Apprenticeship certificate in same trade. Then only he/she can apply.

Question:- I am in the final semester of All India Trade Test (AITT) during July 2021, I do not have ITI certificate, what certificate should I upload?
Answer:-  The marksheet or certificate of previous semester should be uploaded.

Question:- I have done ITI in sewing technology and I am interested to take admission in cutting and sewing or in fashion technology trade?Am I eligible for the above-mentioned trades?
Answer:-  Name of cutting & Sewing is changed to Sewing technology and both are same. You are elegible for Sewing Technology only.

Question:- How to change the wrongly entered Date of Birth in portal?
Answer:-  Send a request to nimionlineadmission@gmail.com with you details of entered Date of Birth and correct Date of Birth from your registered mail ID.

Question:- If a person is already doing CITS, can he apply for CITS entrance exam 2021?
Answer:-  No.

Question:- Are CoE candidates eligible fot CITS examination?
Answer:-  ITI COE Course passed out students are not eligible for CITS admission.

Question:-  I am one year ITI student pursuing my ITI trade. How can I apply ?
Answer:-  Select the Pursuing option and fill the ITI Certificate as NA and Select NCVT as certificate, Regular as Candidate Type and Select the ITI Trade undergoing.

Question:- What certificate can I upload if pursuing ?
Answer:-  Upload the current valid ID Card.

Question:- Can I apply for a CITS trade not related to my ITI Trade ?
Answer:-  NO. Only equivalent CITS trades can be applied. See Annexure in Prospectus.

Question:- Can ITI, Diploma or Degree appearing candidates apply?
Answer:-  Yes, candidates who are in their final semester can apply.

Question:- What to be filled in Certificate number for appearing candidates?
Answer:-  Not Applicable (NA)

Question:- What to fill in grade section?
Answer:-  Not Applicable (NA)

Question:- What should an appearing candidate upload for Certificate?
Answer:-  Upload last year marksheet or ITI ID card.
